Classes for Youths

EKF offers youth classes in kung fu and boxing. Students are free to specialize, but many families choose to do both! Our youth programs are emphasize building fitness and focus, laying the groundwork for a lifetime of success in martial arts, athletics, and many other areas of life. Our youth instructors have all worked with children for numerous years, and offer a safe and motivating environment for your child to succeed in.

Boxing

Western Combat Sport

Boxing, a dynamic and widely practiced combat sport, boasts a rich history that transcends national boundaries. Unlike some martial arts, boxing is a full-contact discipline, where fighters engage within the confines of a ring to outmaneuver, outwit, and ultimately defeat their opponents.

Because boxing is a combat sport, it serves as a valuable tool for self-defense. The ability to maintain composure under pressure allows individuals to resolve situations peacefully or, if necessary, with force.

At EKF, students immerse themselves in a rigorous training regimen that extends beyond mere punches and jabs. Here, they not only learn the art of striking but also cultivate discipline, resilience, and mental fortitude.

Kungfu

Chinese Martial Arts

Kungfu, also known as Wushu, is a Chinese martial art practiced globally. Unlike many combat sports, Kungfu prioritizes precision and form over physical contact. It's an ideal choice for those seeking fitness without injury risk.

At EKF, students learn not only techniques but also essential principles:

  • Self-discipline: The foundation for progress.

  • Confidence: The fuel for growth.

  • Empowerment: The path to mastery.

  • Focus: The key to harmonizing mind and body.

Through dedicated training, students unlock intricate forms and acrobatic maneuvers—a journey that spans centuries of cultural heritage. Kungfu isn't just physical; it's a quest for self-discovery and appreciation.
