Summer Program

Kung Fu, Boxing, and Yoga are integrated into a daily half-day program for children ages 8 to 12.

Kung Fu

Everyday, children will increase coordination and flexibility by practicing the artistic and fluid movements found in Kung Fu. They will learn punching and kicking drills and also important self-defense techniques. Students will receive instruction for their appropriate level, from beginner to advanced.

Boxing

Additionally, they will learn basic Boxing techniques such as the jab and cross and bobbing and weaving. They will learn how to work with focus mitts, speed bags, and heavy bags. Children will be taught age-appropriate strength training exercises, and they will work on agility with jump ropes and obstacle courses.

Yoga

Through Yoga, children will use meditative breathing exercises and body positioning in order to improve concentration and discipline. Yoga is the perfect activity to bring some calm and focus within an active day.

All of these activities will be taught in a fun and dynamic environment. Your child will stay very active throughout the summer while gaining life-changing skills.
